Collegocity campus vists and college tours. Campus visits simplified.

Group Trips

Visiting colleges as a group can be an absolutely great experience!

Collegocity can help any group plan, arrange, and experience visit trips that meet a wide range of needs.  We are happy to give advice to adults preparing trips on their own; to prepare trips for groups; and to lead group tour trips as well.

We work with schools, teams, congregations, clubs and organizations, and multiple families traveling together.  And remember, campus visits aren't just for kids; groups of adults can benefit from and enjoy visiting colleges, too.  There are an abundance of fun activities on campuses--lectures, sports games, concerts, art museums, theatre performances, etc.--often at very affordable prices.  Collegocity can arrange a trip that meets your group's unique needs, whatever they may be.

In addition to customizing an itinerary for your group, Collegocity can also offer:

Elements of a Group Trip

  • The most efficient and cost-effective customized itinerary of visits to an ideal range of campuses
  • Campus-specific appointments for all admissions activities (e.g., tours, information sessions, interviews, financial aid, class visits, meetings with faculty, etc.)
  • Arrangements for fun campus activities during the visit (e.g., big football game, orchestra concert, art opening, etc.)
  • Transportation as required, including air or rail reservations, charter buses, drivers, rental cars, etc.
  • Group rates at comfortable, convenient, high-quality area accommodations
  • Evening activities highlighting cultural or educational attractions that will provide a sense of the local community
  • Additional adult supervision, including night supervisors to be on hand at hotels from 10 PM - 7 AM to reinforce students' appropriate behavior and safety (as well as guarantee chaperones' rest!)
  • Expert in-person guidance on visit trips themselves so that group chaperones can focus on the students and the experience rather than the logistics.
  • Pre-trip orientation for students, chaperones, parents, and/or other constituencies to ensure clear understanding of and comfort with campus visit trip expectations, procedures, and merits.
  • Support for trip leaders to ease trip organization, including checklists, sample permission forms, and fundraising ideas
  • Personalized strategy for visit follow-up and relationship building between visiting groups and college admissions offices
  • Collegocity Campus Visit Kit for each visitor (travel tote containing visit journal, maps and directions, weather forecasts, parking passes, water bottle, umbrella, etc.)
